CSUB wrestling has a rich history of competitive excellence. Every year, for the past 51 years, Bakersfield has had at least one wrestler qualify for the NCAA championships. Wrestling needs your support to continue and enhance this high level of success. Investing into the program’s funding priorities can have a long-lasting impact. 

Funding Priorities

1. Operating Budget: Enhanced operating budget will allow us to travel to compete in high level competitions across the country, allowing us to offer skilled student-athletes the chance to expand their skills and take their shot at NCAA glory. 

2. Coaching Staff: Hiring and retaining the best coaches Is key to sustaining the storied success of the CSUB wrestling program.

3. Facility Enhancement: Enhancing the John Antonino Sports Complex will improve our student-athlete experience and will assist us in our athlete recruitment and retention efforts.
