Baseball Excellence Fund

California State University, Bakersfield’s baseball team is on the verge of becoming a competitive program in the Big West and beyond. Under veteran head coach Jeremy Beard, `Runners have developed into leaders on the field and in the classroom. Investing in the program’s funding priorities will allow our coaches to continue to recruit, retain, and develop talented, driven student-athletes.

Funding Priorities

1. Staffing Support: An enhanced budget will allow for an additional coach under the new NCAA rules. 

2. Electronics: Funds raised will be used to cover subscriptions for trackman, synergy, and other player development technologies crucial to the student-athletes’ individual development. This also includes PitchCom, a modern technology to keep up with the latest NCAA game rules to help pace of play.

3. Equipment Upgrades: Support here will allow us to upgrade equipment like bats, nets, and other core baseball needs.
